Hello World!

For computer geeks, “Hello World!” is traditionally the first output when learning a new programming language.    In this case, I’m beginning a new blog.

I’ll be focused on posting about my writing and publishing activities, primarily concerning The Year of the Red Door.   I hope this will be the forum where I’ll answer some of the many questions that I receive about my activities and about “the story.”

Consider these posts as informal essays.   I’ll wander off topic frequently, to offer insights into story characters and themes, and to relate tidbits about my own personal approach to writing.

But who knows where the blogging muse will lead?
